Just before 1980, anilox rolls ended up made by a number of mechanical procedures. These metal anilox rolls ended up in some cases sprayed with ceramic to lengthen their life inside the flexographic printing press. Throughout the eighties laser engraving systems have been produced which used a carbon dioxide laser to engrave the necessary cell samp
